Description
The SFP+ Cage 2x5 with Light Pipe is a complete hot-swappable I/O interconnect system: a stacked metal cage + 200-position right-angle through-hole receptacle + integrated dual light pipes, shipped as one rack-style ganged assembly. It accepts SFP, SFP+, and SFP28 transceivers, DAC and AOC cables, and mounts to the host PCB via press-fit compliant pins — no wave soldering, no hand wiring.
Designed for high-port-density rackmount equipment (1U/2U ToR switches, blade servers, 5G fronthaul boxes, firewall appliances), the 2x5 vertical stack delivers ten 10G/25G lanes while occupying roughly the front-panel width of a 1x4 cage. The integrated light pipes bring status LEDs to the faceplate; the full metal cage with spring-finger gaskets contains EMI and protects signal integrity at 10G NRZ and 25G PAM4
